Who are we?

The Center for Restoring Values

The Center for Restoring Values is a project of Kol HaLev (“With all your heart”), a Florida Nonprofit religious organization dedicated to elevating humanity through Torah wisdom. KHL has operated since 2019, and has offered classes and curriculum in Jewish teachings including “Torah and Today,” a high-school curriculum in Talmudic values and contemporary issues. KHL is excited to bring its expertise in spiritual education to an interfaith setting.

Rabbi David Siff, Ph.D

Rabbi Siff was ordained as a Rabbi in 2006, and earned his PhD in Jewish Philosophy in 2009.  In college, while classmates were traveling abroad, Rabbi Siff did volunteer work with the homeless of New York, with delinquent teens on the Flathead Indian Reservation, and with poor children in Jersey City.   Witnessing the dehumanization experienced by his clients, he felt called to be a rabbi to bring Biblical values into American society.  After working in the pulpit for 10 years, he founded Kol HaLev (“with all your heart”) in order to focus on reaching a broader audience of people with Torah wisdom.  At Kol HaLev, he created “Torah through Drama,” a drama based approach to Torah study, as well as “Torah and Today,” a high school curriculum which challenges students to apply Jewish values to their life and contemporary society.

“This curriculum will help our children understand that truth matters.  We want them to learn that truth is what we ought to be about.  When you look at the world today, it has gotten to the place where people expect one to lie.  It is crucial.
